Susan Goldman received her MFA in Printmaking
from Arizona State University, Tempe, and her BFA in Printmaking
from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1981. From 1991 through
2000 she was Special Projects Coordinator and Master Printer at
Pyramid Atlantic, Center for Handpapermaking, Printmaking and the
Art of the Book, in Riverdale, MD.
She was the coordinator for Pyramid Atlantic's
Sixth Book Arts Fair 1999(1997,1995), a biannual event, held at
the Corcoran Museum of Art.
She is a printmaking faculty member at George
Mason University, The Corcoran College of Art and Design, Washington,
DC and The Maryland Institute of Art, Baltimore, MD. She was President
of Maryland Printmakers, Inc. She is Founder and Co-Curator since
1993 of the interdisciplinary community arts project, The Art of
Work, The Work of Art, TM, which was most recently implemented and
exhibited in January 1999 at the Art Center/South Florida in Miami,
Florida.
