"Origins", a new series of recent investigations into digital printing onto aluminum surfaces, has allowed a change in scale of the image, and the ability to print on another substrate other than paper. Challenging and playing with digital applications on enhanced surfaces, like brushed aluminum, offers exciting possibilities, through modification of ink transparency and color saturation, adding new dimensions to color and pattern, thus transforming earlier themes, from an impression on paper, into a sculptural object.
